No longer a slave to sin

no longer a slave to sin

Are you aware that you can choose not to be a slave any longer to sin? So why do you live as such? A lot of us try to manage or control sin. Don’t be deceived by the enemy. Forget the notion that you have it under control. Sin is like a disease eating one’s soul gradually. You can never control such! You can’t control the urges, those habits and addiction, the sins that easily beset us.

See what the bible says, ‘In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.’ Now, listen closely to this, ‘Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.’ Romans 6: 11-15.

Did you hear that, do not let sin be your master, do not let sin control or ruin your life. The price has been paid. Jesus came just because of you; he died so you can live; he was crucified so you can reign with him in eternal life, not condemnation. God sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. See, the mind of a sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace.

Some however feel they cannot overcome the sin in their lives; they believed their wrongs are beyond redemption so they choose to accept defeat. They punish themselves and sentence their lives to eternal damnation. They choose to believe the lies of the enemy – the lie that says your sins are numerous and God can never forgive you. You have gone too deep into sin and can never be free from them. Your sins are so great to be forgiven and what kind of God would even forgive such? Well, God is not man. Stop condemning yourself and accept the free gift of forgiveness, the gift of salvation. Why are you trying to pay a price for something that you cannot? Jesus paid the FULL price for you. You have to accept his mercy. It’s not saying you are having an easy way out, but you are been given a God’s way out. Take it!

Folks, we cannot manage or control sin. Accept Jesus into your life today, believe he can save you and confess your sins to him. Only He can save and deliver you. Take His way out. If you are ready to take this decision, please say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I come before you today with an humble heart. Please forgive my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I believe Jesus died for my sins and so, I accept Him as my Lord and personal Saviour. I ask for mercy and pray that your Spirit dwell in my heart. Thank you Lord for saving me, thank you for accepting me and thank you for the gift of life. In Jesus name I have prayed. Amen!

If you have said this prayer; Please, believe he has forgiven your sins. Spend more time in His presence and speak to your Father in heaven.

God bless.

The message of salvation is really straight to the point and precise.
God bless you. I will like to print this out as a leaflet to campus student. Please, kindly send touching stories of people who have repented to me as well.
    Thank you.
